From Solution-Based Mindset Then to Successful Diverse Business Line Now

Beginning from planning to sell only 100 of the best IT products rather than a mass produced of those at a website, Tritan Saputra, UPH’s Industrial Engineering Alumni cohort 1994 is now the President of limabenua.com, the mother company to www.vcloudpointindonesia.com, www.primeresto.com, www.meeberpos.com , www.meeberian.com and www.makanabis.com. Who would’ve guessed, one company would multiply to 5 (and it’s still growing)?

Tritan’s business line is not limited to IT. Some other brands include environment management and city sanitation at www.mazabuta.com alongside of www.groen-indonesia.com, www.sewatoilet.com and www.reksoratan-indonesia.com. But wait, there’s more! Tritan also develops property and property business line such as www.marketingproperti.com and www.menaramannamulia.com. Other than being occupied with his business, Tritan is also actively contributing at various business and profession organizations such as being the Vice Chairman for Kamar Dagang dan Industri (Kadin) in East Java, Head of Creative Industry Section at DPP Asosiasi Pengusaha Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) Nasional (APTIKNAS), Head of Creative Industry Section at DPP Asosiasi Pengusaha Komputer Indonesia (Apkomindo), Head of DPD Asosiasi Real Estate Broker Indonesia Jatim (AREBI), and last but not least, Pengurus Ikatan Alumni Lemhannas. Amazing!

His expertise to build technology-based business doesn’t fall from the knowledge he gained during college. Not only is he talented in business, Tritan admits that he really wanted to bring positive impact for a wide range of people. “Every profession must’ve had their own challenges. But rather than focusing on the hardships, I believe that we should keep our spirits high and learn to be better with each setback. Furthermore, we need to keep striving to become leaders who have a social impact for the society,” Titan explains. Interestingly enough, he remembered one specific message that his lecturer told him to do: find a more efficient and effective solution to problem solving. Tritan transformed this message into his life philosophy, that is, to be constantly creative.

“Being agile is how the younger generation knows it as,” he says.

When UPH started in 1994, according to Tritan, UPH did not have as much facility as it did today. But even since the beginning UPH had a big commitment to bring quality education and to support their graduates to flourish and create. Lecturers taught in a straightforward manner and solidarity between students is stronger due to the relatively small community.

“So with more adequate facility today compared to my university days, I think UPH students has greater prospect to succeed. Make use of the access to facility that you have to support your education. Remember this saying I hold dear to my heart: commoners wait for opportunity; smart people reach for opportunity, clever people create the opportunity,” requests Tritan.
