UPH, Integral Component for Life Today

“UPH has become the place where I build unforgettable moments in my life,” said Christopher Anthony, Alumnus to both UPH's Civil Engineering cohort 2002 as well as Masters of Civil Engineering cohort 2007. All from organizational experiences, Civil Engineering Student Association, Inter-Campus Communication Forum, to being part of the early mentoring movement in 2006. "These experiences are priceless. I will never trade it for anything in the world," Christopher explains. For Christopher, UPH has also become the place where he gains academic supplies useful for his career today.

Currently, Christopher is entrusted to be Novate Solutions Private Limited's Country Sales Manager, an IT Solutions Provider that provides IT Solutions for building and construction industry. Christopher is responsible for Novade Solutions' performance, supporting site management digitalization for construction projects and the development of private and state-owned real estate developers. As the representative for Indonesia's Country Sales, there is one value that Christopher always holds: “A leader is always under construction. Wherever I stand today, I always need to be willing to learn and to work with humility,” he explains. Being "under construction" doesn't mean Chris has an excuse to make mistakes. But rather, it becomes an encouragement to work better, work smarter, and being open to new things. Christopher believes that having integrity and good character will never go out of style.

UPH has become a stepping stone for Christopher today. Christopher hopes that UPH will continue to produce future leaders - those who know their identity in God, responsible and competent in respective fields, as well as are rooted in faith for the nation's growth. "Be a light not to dazzle, but to show the way. Be salt not to bring separation, but to be an agent of change. Bring hope in the midst of emptiness and despair" – Christopher Anthony
